And the winner is...

House #3!

We walked in, and within 30 seconds J whispered to me "I want it."
I whispered back "Maybe we should look at the rest of the house. You know, like ALL of the rest of it. Make sure it has a bathroom. That might be a necessity."

But, alas, he was correct. It is absolutely perfect and cute and all nice and stuff. There is not one thing about it he didn't like. And trust me, he's a teeny tiny bit picky. Everything, down to the trim and light fixtures, has been redone and replaced and it's completey ready to move into.

We'll be moved in by November 1st.

In the meantime, I've been going through all the crap in my house. I've never considered myself a packrat, but somehow it snuck up on me and bit me in the ass because I have more useless stuff than I ever imagined. I've already thrown a bunch of stuff out, donated a car-load to Goodwill, and packed up most of the stuff I'm taking to J's in boxes, and I haven't even made a dent. So, wish me luck on all that.

Also, I had a new roof put on my house and that cost $4,000 and that pretty much made me sick to my stomach for the last week SINCE I WON'T EVEN BE LIVING IN MY HOUSE. But, it had to be done or it would have leaked this winter and that would have sucked. I'm renting it out ASAP so if you know anyone is southwest Michigan looking for a nice, cheap place to rent hit me up yo.

Can you believe I spent four THOUSAND dollars on a roof, and I actually saved like three thousand dollars because I had some good friends do it? Seriously, I called 6 placed for an estimate and none told me anything below $7,000. Crazy shit, those roofs.
