Timber always has a wonky eye in pictures, but not in real life. This is a mystery to me.

I kinda love rainbow underwear. When I put them on, they make my lower half very happy for the rest of the day. The top half? Well, that's up for debate.

Things I thought about while running in the rain this morning to distract myself from boredom/tired legs/tired lungs:

• The rain feels nice. It's running into my mouth now. I wonder if it's more sweat or more rain? I bet it's 40% sweat, 55% rain, and 5% other.
• There are a lot of birds around. They sure do talk to each other a lot. J says they are called "redwing blackbirds". He took ecology. My high didn't have ecology. So, I guess he might be right. Redwing blackbirds like to follow people. One followed me for at least a mile, either flying from tree to tree, taking the powerline, or just flying above me. They are curious little redwing blackbirds, I suppose.
• I yelled at the bird to fuck off. Surprisingly, it did. They must not like profanity.
• I fantasized about winning the lottery and who I would give money to, and who I wouldn't, and where I'd travel to and what I would buy and how many people would try to mooch off me, all the outfits I'd get and boats and jet skis, and probably an island.
• I'm running on remote country roads at 7:30 in the morning and there's no one around and only a few houses, and what if someone grabs me? Where would I run? Could I kick someones ass? Oh god, here comes a car. It's coming up behind me. Is it slowing down? Oh shit, it's slowing down. Fuck, they're going to kidnap me and rape and torture me. OK, nevermind. There they go. They even waved. Nice senior citizens.
