Cheesy Smile Self Portraits Are Awesome

We took the train into Chicago, which saves a ton of money. No gas, no parking, and the best thing- no traffic. If you live in Michigan, you know what a F.I.P. is, and just because you're in Illinois doesn't make them better drivers. J fell asleep on the way there, so I got bored and took lots of useless pictures.

This was the view from our room. We stayed at the Westin River North. It was supposed to be fancy and 4-star, but I was only semi-impressed. The toilet had an old yellow colored toilet seat on it, and the toilet itself was bright white. Holy tacky. And it barely flushed. The sink was cracked and the AC didn't go below 70 degrees. That's pretty hot when you're um, active in the room. I never complained because I work at a hotel and I hate being the complaining guest, but I was sorta disappointed. Everything else was nice though. J wanted to eat the $5.00 Doritos out of the mini bar, what a tool he is.

The thing about taking the train... well, it leaves you with no vehicle. So, we walked. A lot. We were very tired in the this picture and fell asleep about 30 seconds after I took this. Can you say CHEESE?This gave me vertigo when I looked down, probably because I was hungover.

The way home. Tired. Hobbled. Walked many, many miles. Ate way too much food. Drank a few too many cocktails. Fun time had by all.
